Anushka Singh is a Bollywood actor. She is among the highest-paid actresses, and was awarded numerous accolades for her performance. Anushka Sharma is daughter of Kumar Sharma (retd.) and Ashima Sharma. She was born in Ayodhya UP on 1 May 1988. Anushka's father is an officer in the colonel (retd.) Her mother works as household worker. Karnesh Singh, the brother of Anushka and film producer served as Merchant Navy. Anushka Sharma graduated from Army School, Bangalore and has pursued an undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. Anushka Sharma is a graduate with a Master's education in Economics. Anushka did not want to becoming an actor, but she was interested in becoming a model or reporter. Anushka completed her degree in Mumbai she enrolled in Elite Model Management. She was taught by stylist Prasad Bidapa. Anushka was selected for the show by Wendell Rodricks as the final model for his Les Vamps Show, which took place at Lakme Fashion Week in 2017. Anushka has since her Lakme Fashion Week modelling debut has appeared in campaigns by companies like Fiat Palio Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry Silk & Shine Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka Sharma, along with her modeling career, attended an acting class and started giving auditions for film. Anushka was first seen in an acting role with Shah Rukh Khan opposite Anushka. In preparation for her screening test, Anushka Sharma stayed all day. Later, she signed up to film three times together with Yash Raj Films. She was a young wedding bride to a middle-aged actor (Shah Rukh Khan) in the film. The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka was seen with Shahid Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Vir Das as well as Meiyang Chang in the 2010 film "Badmash Company". The film received mixed reviews. Anushka appeared alongside Ranveer in the movie 'Band Baaja Baaraat', in which she portrayed a Punjabi middle-class girl who started her own business. The film was praised by critics and was deemed to be a surprise and a huge success. With Band Baaja Baaraat Anushka's three-film deal under the Yash Raj Films banner was completed.
